Rock music during the 50s and 60s
Rock remains still one of the most popular music genres worldwide. It has plenty of “branches” and has influenced a multitude of other styles. It is a type of music that can be played by people without formal music education, while still requiring effort and dedication.
We’ll check out certain aspects and artists of the genre during the 50s and 60s. Of course we won’t cover everything – the field is immense!
During the 50s, rock music first appears, with rock and roll being its most common form, a type of music which is definitely dance-oriented.
