On Thursday, November 28, 2019, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Mr. Philippe Grandi, visited the Reception and Identification Center in Moria, Lesvos, to see firsthand the human cost of immigration policies that have stuck to more than 39,000 people and dangerous camps. On the occasion of Mr Granti’s visit, 17 organizations* active in Greece delivered a written communication urging the Greek authorities to raise important concerns regarding access to the asylum process, the provision of essential services and the inadequacy of child protection.
