Due to NCR’s success program “Young Journalists”, the Efivos Project aspires to enrich and evolve the already successful methodology and good practices of “Y.J.” in the digital world. The newspaper “Migratory Birds” now will have its own digital space while creating a many opportunities for training and developing digital skills for young people.The focus group aims to gather information / feedback and innovative ideas that will be suggestions for developing a methodological approach to the digital format of “Young Journalists” by professionals working with young people, and / or professionals working with digital media.

Open Invitation to Focus Group on Efivos Progect-digital media education on Monday 24/2/20 5 pm.
Efivos Project is a European program encouraging and fostering inclusive values among young people by increasing awareness and enhancing knowledge and skills requirements in a digital era.
Due to NCR’s success program “Young Journalists”, the Efivos Project aspires to enrich and evolve the already successful methodology and good practices of “Y.J.” in the digital world. The newspaper “Migratory Birds” now will have its own digital space while creating a many opportunities for training and developing digital skills for young people.The focus group aims to gather information / feedback and innovative ideas that will be suggestions for developing a methodological approach to the digital format of “Young Journalists” by professionals working with young people, and / or professionals working with digital media.
Desired Specialties of Professionals working with young people, and / or working with digital media:
-social worker
-social workers in refugee centers
-digital media trainers (photography, video recording, audio recording, radio production)
-journalists / social media managers
-developers (website developers)
-teachers
-cultural mediators
The meeting will last for one hour and will take place on Monday, February 22, 5:00, at Alkamenous 11 B, Athens 104 39. The Focus Group will take the form of a discussion, with simultaneous recording.

About Us
The Network for Children’s Rights acquired non-profit organisation status in 2004, but actually began as an informal action group four years earlier with the aim of raising awareness of problems relating to the righs of children and interceding in order to solve them. It encourages initiatives and actions to ensure that the UN International Convention on the Rights of the Child is implemented in Greece, to guarantee respect for diversity and to put an end to discrimination. Its members are teachers, parents, university lecturers, authors, artists and children who work on a voluntary basis both within and outside the school community. They carry out surveys, campaigns and programmes.
