Classical music
Often, in everyday speech, when we say “classical music”, we refer to anything with an orchestra, pieces that are not in our familiar song form or groups comprised instruments that are not modern and electric. However, classical music is actually a specific style that developed in the 18th and 19th centuries, with an immense historical value, that influenced everything that came after it. It is characterized by clear melodies, with some instruments playing a secondary role and some others coming to the forefront. The classical composers sought to prove that music unites people from all over the world, regarding music as a universal language.
The most well known classical composers were Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven, comprising the “Vienna School”. Some of their works follow:

About Us
The Network for Children’s Rights acquired non-profit organisation status in 2004, but actually began as an informal action group four years earlier with the aim of raising awareness of problems relating to the righs of children and interceding in order to solve them. It encourages initiatives and actions to ensure that the UN International Convention on the Rights of the Child is implemented in Greece, to guarantee respect for diversity and to put an end to discrimination. Its members are teachers, parents, university lecturers, authors, artists and children who work on a voluntary basis both within and outside the school community. They carry out surveys, campaigns and programmes.
