The EU Conference "EU and the Future. Insights on equality, youth and refugees" aims to bring together beneficiaries, partners, stakeholders, and policymakers to increase the knowledge and awareness of EU institutions, policies and democratic procedures.

The Conference will take place online and be conducted in English. The Conference and its content are organized by a group of youth from the partner states (Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, Denmark) who worked together to set up the conference, agenda and moderate the event.

EFIVOS in Europe aims to provide the youth with journalist skills to enhance the engagement and active participation of young people in the democratic and civic life of the European Union. Through actively engaging disadvantaged youth in creating media content about the main issues in the European agenda, the project also aims to gather individuals’ opinions through a bottom-up approach. This will also allow young people to participate and contribute in public debates related to issues in the European agenda.

All 7 partner countries (Greece, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Denmark, Cyprus) organized workshops on EU institutions, climate change and media trainings where the youth created articles and podcasts. In addition, the youth organized a debate with EU candidates and policy makers in each partner country.
