Chairwoman
Miranda (Myrofora) Papadopoulou - Chairwoman
Myrofora (Miranda) Papadopoulou has been a lawyer in Athens since 1985 and for the past two years she is a student of Spanish Language at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She became a member of the Network for Children’s Rights’ Board of Directors in 2010 and ultimately became its Chairwoman in 2016.
Vice Chairwoman
Gelly Aroni - Vice Chairwoman
Dr. Gelly Aroni has been working for the Special Secretariat for the Protection of Unaccompanied Minors in the Ministry of Migration & Asylum since the beginning of September 2020. She was actively involved in the establishment and has been the Head of the Department for the Coordination and Monitoring of the Refugee Education of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. She has extensive experience as a Physical Education teacher in Intercultural Schools where she used cooperative games to promote, through active participation and collaborative learning, the principles, content and values of Democracy education and Education for Human Rights.
She has been working as an expert and a trainer in the Council of Europe and European Wergeland Center’s programmes (Pestalozzi seminars and modules, Summer Academies in Greece) on Human Rights Education and Education for Democratic Citizenship.
Secretary
Kalliopi Kyrdi - Secretary
Coordinator of Cultural Affairs in Primary Education. She has studied law and pedagogic studies and is the author of textbooks (Greek language for 1st grade and Greek language for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades of Minority Schools), educational material for adult literacy, Greek as a second language, educational textbooks for active citizenship, volunteering and solidarity, children’s books (scripts and games, Centre for the Greek Language), family literacy, the approach to monuments and public spaces. She has designed educational programs for museums, cultural routes and intercultural approaches. She is a writer of children’s books.
Hon. Treasurer
Ioanna Moschovakou - Hon. Treasurer
Ioanna Moschovakou is a Social Worker and Educator and has worked at the Preschool Center of the Bank of Greece as Head of the Center. At the same time, she was trained at and operated parent counselling schools. She is currently retired and participates in the Board of Directors of the Network for Children’s Rights.

Olympia Agalianou - Member
She holds a PHD degree in Philology, Pedagogy and Psychology and is a graduate of the Department of Physical Education & Sports Science. She has studied music and dance therapy, as well as the Carl Orff music-motor education method.
She is a writer of monographs and a member of the writing team producing physical education books for the first classes of primary school.
She has served in primary education for 20 years. Today, she serves as Special Education Staff at the Department of Early Childhood Education. At the same time, she teaches Postgraduate Programs at the University of Macedonia, University of the Ionian (Corfu), National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Democritus University of Thrace
She is the Honorary President of the The Hellenic Orff-Schulwerk Association and represents Greece at the International Orff-Schulwerk Forum. Her research interests include: community music and dance, art as a means of social cohesion and personal development.

Ilias Dimakis Loutas - Member
Ilias Dimakis Loutas was born in Athens in 1975. He has been a lawyer since 2000, specialized in Public Law. He works in civil, administrative and commercial law and since 2006 he has been a legal consultant for the Regional Union of the Municipalities of Attica (Π.Ε.Δ.Α.).
He is married to Tania Zervoudaki, a lawyer, with whom he shares a law firm. They have two kids, Fanis (15,5 years old) and Eva (13 years old).

Roula Linardou - Member
She is a Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Clinical and Community Psychology and has been trained in Crisis Intervention and Emotional Trauma Management. She has 12 years of work experience and has supported vulnerable population groups. She was an employee of NCR’s Child Protection Unit for 5 years, as a case manager and field coordinator and finally as a program manager.
She has been a member of NCR since 2017 and a member of the Board of Directors since April 2022.

Minnie Panagiotopoulou-Karra- Alternative member
Minnie Panagiotopoulou Karras studied at the Early Childhood Education and Training Department of NKUA and successfully attended the Transnational Interdisciplinary Master’s Program “Education and Human Rights” (NKUA & University of London, Institute of Education)
From 1992 until 2023 she performed administrative and educational duties participating in the management of the Hill School (private Kindergarten and Primary).
In 2011 and 2012 she collaborated with the Network for Children’s Rights participating in educational activities in Samaria and in the then new area of Alkamenous Street.
She was born in Athens in 1960 and is the mother of 4 children.

Eva Kogiannaki - Alternative member
Eva Kogiannaki has studied Law at the University of Athens and is the Juvenile Curator, Head of the Juvenile Curator Service of Athens. She has many years of experience in counseling juvenile offenders at the psychosocial and legal level and has participated in the Board of Scientific bodies and networks on the prevention and treatment of child abuse and delinquency.

Vasiliki-Ilia Papastathis - Alternative member
Vasiliki-Ilia Papastathis (b. 1972) is a publishing editor. She studied History (AUTh & EHESS-Paris, DEA Social History) and Comparative Literature and Theory of Literature (Ma., Department of Philology, AUTh-Thessaloniki). She is a member of the Board of Directors at the Network for Children’s Rights since November 2021.

Director
Panos Christodoulou - Executive Director
Panos Christodoulou is the Executive Director of the Network for Children’s Rights, as well as an award-winning author of children’s books.
He has studied Law at the University of Athens and Human Rights at the University of London. He has worked as a journalist in the newspaper “Ta Nea”, as well as a lawyer and human rights expert with various organisations in Greece and Europe.

Barbara Kassi - Financial Director
Ms. Barbara Kassi holds a BA in Business Administration and has more than 20 years of experience in Accounting in the private sector. Since 2017, she has been the Financial Director of NCR, responsible for monitoring expenditure and cash flow, managing tax compliance, payments, payrolls. She speaks English and French.

Panagiotis Stamatakis - Finance Officer
Mr. Panagiotis Stamatakis is the Finance Officer at the Network for Children’s Rights, responsible for the financial management and monitoring of all projects from the stage of budgeting until the final finance report submission and audit. At the same time, he supervises all procurement actions.
Since 2016, he has managed with success all of NCR projects from different types of donors supporting the organization’s viability.
He has studied at the Department of Statistics and Insurance of the University of Piraeus and he is currently completing his master’s degree at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece.
Program Manager
Alexia Karapatsia - Program & HR Manager
Alexia Karapatsia is the Program Manager at the Network for Children’s Rights, responsible for the implementation of projects and is a member of the fundraising team.
She holds a BA in Political Science and History from Panteion University and an MA in Southeast European Studies from the University of Athens. She has worked in project management in the City of Athens, in the Directorate of Social Solidarity, for the European programs FEAD and EaSI. She has also studied English, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Chinese.
Communications Officer
Dimitra Koutsavli - Communications Officer
Dimitra Koutsavli is the Communications Officer at the Network for Children’s Rights and is responsible for the communication strategy and the visibility of the organization. She is an International and European Relations graduate at Panteion University and she has attended the master’s program of Public International Law at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
She holds a professional diploma in Digital Marketing at Alba Graduate Business School. After acquiring professional experience at the Embassy of Greece in the Hague, she worked as a communications manager in various Non Governmental Organizations in Greece.

Aggeliki Gioula - Administrative Officer
Aggeliki Gioula is the Administrative Officer at the Network for Children’s Rights. She has studied Faculty of Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, she holds a master degree in Special Education from the joint program of the Universities Patra and Nicosia. Prior to her association with the Network, she has been working at IOM in a respective position at the humanitarian field.

Children’s Library Coordinator
Thanasis Kotsovos - Culture Lab & Children's Library Coordinator
Thanasis Kotsovos is a librarian, coordinator of the Culture Lab and the Children’s Lending Library of the Network for Children’s Rights.
He has studied Library and Information Studies at the TEI of Athens and Mass Communication & Media Arts at the Metropolitan College. He has designed and implemented educational programs in the context of formal and non-formal education, based on children’s books.
Advocacy Officer & DPO
Pelopidas Nikolopoulos - Advocacy and GDPR Officer
Pelopidas – Alexios Nikolopoulos is a lawyer, Advocacy Officer and DPO of the Network for Children’s Rights.
He studied Law at EKPA and has received a master’s degree from the same university in civil law and new technologies, with a thesis regarding the guardianship of unaccompanied minors. He represents NCR in Parliamentary Committees and in European and national conferences and events. He has co-authored and published texts on the rights of the child in legal books and magazines.
Project Manager of the Youth Center
Stella Kolyta - Project Manager of the Youth Center
Stella Kolyta is the Project Manager of the Youth Center and the Coordinator of the newspaper ‘Migratory Birds’. She studied Political Science and International Relations at the University of Peloponnese, with direction at Political Science. She completed her intership at NCR and since October is a member of NCR positioned at the Youth Center.

Educational Programs
Koula Panagou - Coordinator of Educational Programs
Koula Panagou is an educator and the Coordinator of Educational Programs at NCR. She completed her studies at the University of Athens at the Department of Preschool Education. She has also completed a four-year training in play therapy at Erma – Private Lifelong learning Psychotherapy Center. She designs, coordinates and implements educational programs for preschools and school aged children in formal and non-formal education settings, while she also coordinates parent counseling groups. She has participated in international conferences with presentations and publications.
Project Manager of Child Protection Unit Case Management
Ilektra Antonatou - Project Manager of Child Protection Unit Case Management
Ilektra Antonatou is the Project Manager of the Child Protection Unit of the Network.
She has studied at the Department of Mediterranean Studies of the University of the Aegean, majoring in International Relations and Organizations and holds a master’s degree in Geopolitical Analysis from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Prior to her association with the Network, she has worked for other NGOs in the area of child protection.”
Volunteers’ Coordinator
Lizeta Ziakou - Volunteers' Coordinator
Lizeta Ziakou is an educator-animator and the Volunteer Coordinator for European programs at the Network for Children’s Rights. She has worked as a coordinator of non-formal educational and creative activities, in the framework of the refugee project Welcommon (2017-19, Wind of Renewal), created at the Model Center for Housing and Promotion of Social Inclusion of refugees and vulnerable groups.

Officer
Giorgos Koutsouvelis- Procurement Officer
Giorgos Koutsouvelis is the Procurement Officer at NCR. Previously, he was a volunteer to the friendly spaces for children of NCR and supported the Coordinators to the tasks that were assigned to him. He is completing his studies in Business Organization and Management at the Economic University of Athens.
Child Protection Coordinator
Marina Pertsinidou- Child Protection Coordinator
Marina Pertsinidou is the Child Protection Officer for all the Network’s programs.
She is a graduate of the Department of Social Work of the Technical University of Athens and has been licensed to practice since 2017.
She has worked in civil society organizations as a social worker with experience in the homeless population and unaccompanied refugee children.
HR Officer
Zerardin Stefopoulou- HR Officer
Zerardin Stefopoulou works at the Network for Children’s Rights as a Human Resources Manager. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus and a master’s degree in Strategic Human Resource Management from ALBA. She worked in the HR department of Citibank. She speaks English, Spanish and French.
She loves children’s books. For years she served the Hellenic Scouting voluntarily in various positions and represented the SEP in international forums and conferences.
